The same keyword with high competition is worth watching, not necessarily launching into immediately, unless you have a genuinely different angle on it.
A pattern worth knowing: some of what shows up here isn't a "new" trend at all, it's a seasonal one repeating on schedule. Wedding-related terms climb every spring, gifting terms climb every November. Anything claiming true real-time "trending" data for search volume specifically is either updating cosmetically without new underlying data, or measuring something else entirely, like raw listing counts, not buyer demand.
